Green Vintage Style Evening Handbag

As much as I'd love to have a designer bag, I can't nearly afford it. But I am willing and able to invest a smaller amount in the right bag. Here's what I need: a very high quality, fairly large, preferably leather purse/handbag/satchel/etc. Preferably dark brown or black or other neutral colors (I LOVE Burberry's Nova Check, or plaid wool). Style is negotiable - not overly trendy, fairly classic and somewhat convservative (no lime green hobos). I am much more interested in QUALITY than brand name. I want a bag that is well built, will last, and looks expensive (even if it isn't). Are there any high quality, stylish, sophisticated brands out there that I can pick up for around $200 or less? I am fine with last season's bags, but I will NOT buy a fake (reeks of desperation and pretentiousness to me). I know $200 isn't really much for a bag, but that's what I can afford...

check outlet stores and believe it or not thrift and consignment stores espeacially in areas that are high society. You often find great items at bargin prices and I wouldnt be really specific about what you want even paying full price if you go in with a general idea ( big and leather) you might find more option but its like Murrphey's law or something that if you know exactly what you want you arent gonna find it. Plus check clearance racks and three day sales. Also small mom and pop boutiques often run sales when chains wont.

i was looking for that bag too but i cant find anything. you should look online for handmade shoulder bags. its hard but you will find some similar items that were made in like india and such. good luck!

I mostly wear very saturated colors like blues and greens, but I also wear a lot of ivory and white. I will occasionally wear black and dark gray. I want a purse that I don't have to think about matching to my clothes. I don't like to spend a lot of time "matching" my clothing and accessories. I like the lighter tan bag, because I feel like even though the strap and handles are brown the majority of the bag is light enough to contrast if I were to wear black or gray. I like the gray but feel it would be too dull to wear with colors, but perfect with black. Okay, so there's no panic, haha. My ball is in November, the 7th I believe. Well, as you know I'm trying to find a prom dress for it. I live in Finland, a country in Northern Europe, situated between Sweden and Russia. I'd really want to order something online, as the shops I shop at don't really have dresses that would be suitable for a ball. My style is pretty much girly casual (in daily life)- a normal outfit might consist of a tank top, hoodie, jeans, flats and cute handbag combo. My favorite colour is sky blue, but I also like other cool colours like (light)green. I'd really like the dress to match the colours of November. November is pretty dark and boring here though, rainy, snow might start to fall.. but usually it's very rainy, cold and unpleasant. I'd prefer the dress to be of some designer(although it doesn't have to be) as then it might be of better quality, and might be worth something more someday, and I can use it for a long time because of the quality. I really love Betsey Johnson, I love all the evening dresses of her! I really wouldn't like to exceed a limit of 400 dollars though, so keep it a bit lower than that. Also, the dress has to be on a site where you can ship internationally, otherwise it's a real bummer. Oh, and I'm 14(turning 15 in 2 weeks, so I'll be 15 at the time of the ball), around 161.5 cms.. which is something around 5'3, 5'4? I'm quite petite, usually fitting myself into an XS or S size. I'm in 9th grade. Please post links. Feel free to add accessories and other things to add to the outfit if you like.
